Translation:

Nagisa: “What’d you say about my boyfriend?” (✿⊙‿⊙)
This post does a wonderful job of showing how our beloved swimming boys would sleep together.
So, I went ahead and googled what different sleeping positions represent in relationships. It turns out that these guys’ sleeping positions make complete sense if we put them together.
As said in the other post, Makoto and Haru sleep side by side, perhaps while holding hands. Their sleeping arrangement obviously shows their long history with each other
(someone get them a marriage contract already)
- “Couples having spent more time together often have more personal space between one another. Sign of emotional attachment in this position are touched hands, knees and feet. Some couples does not like the direct physical contact during sleep but “look for” the person next to them with “accidental” touch of the feet or the hands. The accidental contact may sound like uncertainty in feelings but this is a romantic hint of friendly and intimate attitude, looking for hidden closeness. (x)
- Haruka’s position could also be perceived with him resting his head on Makoto’s shoulder, similar to the ‘Shingles’ position. “This symbolizes a strong commitment towards each other. Whoever’s head rests on the others shoulder (Haruka) is the more dependent partner” (x)
Nagisa and Rei have a different representation, since they only just met and are new to their feelings for one another. Therefore, they sleep in the ‘Honeymoon Hug’.
- "Occurs when couples just cannot get enough of each other they want to face each other, seemingly gaze into each others’ eyes, even in sleep.” (x)
- "A popular one for new couples. It means you are completely “in sync” with your partner and you both share a profound intimacy.” (x)
- Their sleeping position could also be ‘The Romantic’ which is “an intimate pose much favored in a new relationship” (x)
So basically, these two are so compatible, it even shows in how they sleep. ;w;
Haruka and Makoto
- Both sleep on their backs
- Both sleep with one hand over their stomachs
- Haruka has his right hand by his side (looks like it’s palm-down, but it’s hard to tell)
- Makoto has his left hand at his side, palm-up.
So if they have been sleeping beside each other as they had originally planned, they would have likely been sleeping side-by-side holding hands.
Rei and Nagisa
- Rei sleeps on his side, facing (The viewer’s) left.
- Nagisa sleeps on his side, facing right.
- Nagisa is cuddling a pillow.
- Rei has his arm out like he would be cuddling something, had he something to cuddle.
So if these two had been sharing a tent, it’s possible that Nagisa would have been clinging to Rei in his sleep, and Rei would have had his arm around Nagisa’s shoulders.
Also Rei wouldn’t have been able to sneak out without Nagisa knowing.Basically what I’m trying to say is that both pairings have complimentary sleeping positions.
It’s almost as though they have slept that way before.
And we know that Haruka and Makoto have regular sleepovers at least.
